Well, this weekend I'll be on my way to Detroit — my hometown — for the first time in nearly two years. I miss the place despite the bad reputation, and the current happenings. I'm really looking forward to being there.
On other subjects, neither of the jobs that I mentioned in the previous entry panned out. One was for a place that I consider a little more respectable than a pyramid get rich quick scheme, and the other claimed the position was cancelled. Figures. But I still have other prospects. Another company that I applied with sent me one of their standard "thank you for your resume" cards. In my mind that adds up to "yeah, we see you, now go away" but I'm trying to stay optimistic.
Also coming up next week is the third anniversary of my marriage to Lori. Happy Anniversary Kitten! I love you with all my heart!
Not much else is really happening right now. I'm coding like a demon, and learning a lot, and I hope that something I've written will be useful in the near future. Beyond that, send me money or buy something. :-) Talk to you later.
